“The Eternal Collection” is a series consisting of 1,000 art pieces inspired by the actor’s long-running Holywood career which includes his performance in the critically-acclaimed movie “Silence of the Lambs” where he won an Oscar award for his role as Hannibal Lecter.
The launching of the NFT collection was made through a partnership with Orange Comet Inc., a premium NFT (Non-Fungible Token) creative media and Web3 experience based in Los Angeles. The company was founded by Hollywood veteran producer, Dave Broome, NFL Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, and Grammy award-winning music icons Gloria and Emilio Estefan.
According to OpenSea, the names like “The Eternal,” “The Jester,” and “The Lover,” were given to art pieces that are said to conceptualize “an interpretation of the vast character archetypes” that the Oscar-winner actor has portrayed all throughout his Holywood career.
But owning the actor’s NFT collection also comes with real-life perks which include a once-in-a-lifetime chance of having a one-on-one brunch with Hopkins. On top of that, they will also receive autographed physical prints of the artwork and audio clips of Hopkins discussing the meanings behind the different archetypes.
Sir Anthony Hopkins is just one of the celebrities that have joined the NFT space. Some of them have even turned into top influencers in the space. In a tweet, the actor pertained to his latest success as a “milestone to the repertoir”.
Adding this milestone to the repertoire. Thank you, everyone. Thrilling day.

Despite the dwindling prices of digital assets including NFTs in the market, it’s always refreshing to see success stories like this one. It only proves that digital art pieces that are worthy of buyer’s money will definitely become a hit. But Hopkins NFT collection is not just a huge success but has turned into a record-holder as the fastest-selling NFT collection of all time. The Holywood actor will no longer just be known for his blockbuster movies and outstanding performances but also for his bestselling NFT collection.
